Justin Epstein
Principal
Justin established Principal Invest in 2015 to assist with the management of a portfolio of investments. Justin has been investing in a broad range of asset classes and transactions and over the last 15 years has deployed in excess of $1 billion on behalf of investors.
In 2009, Justin founded One Investment Group, a business centred on providing fiduciary and administration services to fund managers. Over the course of 9 years, Justin built this business into the third largest in Australia, servicing in excess of 300 funds with $40 billion of assets under management.
Prior to this, Justin was the Investment Director of the LJCB Investment Group, one of Australia’s most significant private investment houses. In this role, Justin was also Head of Corporate Finance for Global Aviation Asset Management, one of the world’s largest aircraft lessors, managing a modern portfolio of 53 aircraft on long term operating leases to airlines around the world.
Justin has previously worked in group strategy and business development for a major Australian investment bank, for the corporate finance restructuring division of Ernst & Young (EY) and for a specialised private property finance and investment group. Justin has also been involved in founding several businesses.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
Greg Wang
Principal
Greg has 20 years’ private equity and corporate finance experience. Greg has invested in excess of $100 million in private equity and has been instrumental in helping investee businesses achieve strong growth and shareholder value.
Greg is currently a Director of Star Car Wash, the largest hand car wash group in Australia and New Zealand with over 160 retail locations.
Prior to Principal Invest, Greg founded a private equity investment firm that specialised in investing in and working with growth oriented private businesses harnessing his experience over the years working as the Investment Director at two private equity funds.
Greg started his career in advisory at EY, followed by time in M&A/investment banking at Caliburn (now Greenhill). As a M&A banker, Greg was involved in completing in excess of $20 billion in M&A transactions.
Greg is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA both from the University of New South Wales Business School/AGSM.
Greg currently serves on the University of New South Wales Business School Alumni Advisory Board.
